Environmental Response, Remediation, and Testing
UST/AST Closure Assessments
All underground storage tanks (USTs) and above ground storage tanks (ASTs) must be registered with state regulatory agencies, tested for hazardous material leakage, monitored, and properly maintained to ensure that containers are leak-proof. Envirotech services for USTs and ASTs includes the following:
- Evaluation of underground tank conditions, UST removal, closure, new installation, design and implementation of monitoring systems, soil and groundwater testing, hydrogeologic investigations, site reclamation, and compliance consulting
- Envirotech also obtains operating or closure permits through the appropriate regulatory agencies
Envirotech is a listed environmental consultant with the Colorado Division of Oil and Public Safety Consultant Program, https://opus.cdle.state.co.us/Contacts/. Envirotech’s listing number is C-188. Three Individual Listed Consultants for this program are Morris Young #5383, Greg Crabtree #6278, Evan Tyrrell #6449. If you have petroleum storage facilities with UST’s or AST’s, give our experts a call for help.
Analytical Field Services
In the event of a regulated material release leading to soil or groundwater contamination, Envirotech offers analysis, remediation solutions, and testing. We can test and evaluate the overall condition of the contamination area and design a remediation plan. We have experience with multiple cleaning techniques such as oxygen release and hydrogen release injections, vapor extraction, pump and treat systems, bio-remediation, and solar powered remediation systems.
Air Quality Management
We specialize in stationary source pollutants emission testing, indoor air quality testing, emission source inventory plans, consulting, and reporting.
Emission Inventory Plans
An emissions inventory plan determines if a facility falls under state and federal regulations, identifies the limits of permissible emissions, and establishes testing protocol. We can help you develop a plan to ensure that you are in compliance with these regulations.
Emissions Testing
Envirotech uses a variety of techniques and methods for real time field sampling and analysis of gaseous compounds from different emissions sources. Envirotech offers air emissions testing services for equipment regulated under state and federal regulations (NSPS and NESHAP):
Gas Turbines, Natural Gas-Fired Engines, and Generators
Incinerators, Combustors, and Oxidizers
Control Devices, Closed Vents Systems, Recovery Devices, and Fuel Gas Systems
Natural Gas Transmission and Storage Facilities
LUST Remediation Management
Leaking underground storage tanks (LUSTs) can be a serious condition affecting residences, businesses, factories, and farms. LUST remediation management requires fast action to minimize damage to the surrounding area. Envirotech will remove the UST, perform a site assessment, test the surrounding soil, and close the site.
Site Remediation and Contamination Management
Envirotech provides remediation plan design and management for chemically contaminated soil, media, and groundwater. We do this by designing, implementing, and monitoring the site.
Environmental Site Assessments Phase I, II, and III
Envirotech provides due diligence for purchasers of real estate, lenders, and owners of real estate. Preliminary site assessments and environmental risk audits establish the physical condition of a property and highlight any environmental concerns or hazardous materials.
Pollution Prevention Plans–Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPP) and Spill Prevention & Countermeasure Plans (SPCC)
A SWPP is required by the EPA for every facility that stores more than 1,350 of petroleum products. This plan is used to prevent an oil spill from reaching U.S. protected waters. Envirotech conducts facility inspections and reviews current spill plans, creates new plans as necessary, and provides integration of plans to ensure regulatory compliance. Envirotech also provides a professional engineer to review the plans and certify them for government review and approval.
Spill Clean Up Products
We keep an inventory of basic spill supplies that can be purchased at our Farmington office. These supplies include poly and metal drums, booms, absorbent pads, peat moss, oil dry and Simple Green. Call for more details.

Field Operations
Structural Demolition
Envirotech has the equipment and staff to handle your structural demolition needs. Our experts can manage standard demolitions and those that involve asbestos.
Construction and Heavy Equipment
Our extensive line of equipment allows us to service clients with heavy construction needs such as earth moving, grading, and dirt hauling.
Pollution Prevention Plans–Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPP) and Spill Prevention & Countermeasure Plans (SPCC)

Asbestos
Federal and state laws require building owners and facility operators to disclose the presence of asbestos-containing materials, minimize exposure, and provide for abatement during remodeling, renovation, and/or demolition.
Envirotech employs a staff of certified asbestos professionals who can manage all areas of asbestos concerns including the initial survey, sample collection, and independent laboratory testing. In addition, our staff can develop a management plan and abatement program, remove your building, and monitor your compliance process.
If you are completing an abatement project, our experts will work with you to ensure that the project is completed in accordance with regulations.
Air monitoring for asbestos during and after abatement projects is vital to ensure compliance with state regulations. We are NIOSH certified for air sampling in the state of New Mexico.
Mold: Indoor Air Quality Inspection and Remediation
We employ certified mold and indoor air quality inspectors who can inspect and collect samples at any residential or commercial space. Once the site inspection and testing are completed, material removal and fogging can be done if needed.
Mercury
Mercury and most of its compounds are extremely toxic and are generally handled with care; in cases of spills involving mercury, specific cleaning procedures are used to avoid toxic exposure. Due to the health effects of mercury exposure, industrial and commercial uses are regulated in many countries. Envirotech can remove mercury from line drips, meter houses, and contaminated soil. We can also dispose of mercury thermostats, mercury vapor lamps, and other mercury contaminated items.
Radon
Radon is a chemical element that is colorless, odorless, tasteless, and naturally occurring. It is one of the heaviest substances that remains a gas under normal conditions and is considered to be a health hazard. Envirotech offers accurate testing services for radon at both residential and commercial sites.
Lead
Lead is present in natural deposits and may also enter soil through leaded gasoline leaks from underground storage tanks, lead paint waste, or other industrial applications. Envirotech offers testing and remediation services for lead at both residential and commercial sites.
Hantavirus
Our teams have the proper personal protective equipment and knowledge to clean out potentially dangerous Hantavirus sites. We will clean the site and take away the resulting filthy material.
Landfarm
Remediation of Hydrocarbon Contaminated Soil and Water
As part of our full circle service, Envirotech operates a New Mexico Oil Conservation Division (NMOCD) permitted commercial landfarm facility and a New Mexico Environmental Department (NMED) permitted commercial landfarm facility designed for the treatment of hydrocarbon-contaminated soils and water.
